5 Delicious Food Finds to Celebrate National Nutrition Month

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx

It’s one of my favorite months of the year! Not only is it now officially Spring, but it’s also National Nutrition month! To celebrate, I’ve teamed up with my friends over at Babbleboxx to share some amazing, nutritious products, and there may even be a discount for you to enjoy along the way!

Coconut Secret Organic Coconut Aminos

If you are looking for a great soy and gluten free alternative to soy sauce without the MSG, I highly suggest giving Coconut Secret’s Organic Coconut Aminos a try! They have that great soy sauce-like taste with 72% less sodium. I love to use it as a 1:1 alternative for soy sauce in stir fries because it perfectly savory with a slightly sweet umami flavor. It’s also great for marinades, dips, or on its own!

Mighty Sesame Harissa Tahini

I’m a huge tahini fan, and Mighty Sesame’s Harissa Tahini is at the top of my list! Not only is it vegan, gluten free, kosher, and dairy free, but this tahini packs in the most delicious kick of roasted-chile pepper flavor. Iam obsessed with the convenient squeeze bottle. Just give it a shake and add it to your favorite dips, veggies, or meats. I personally love to use it as a salad dressing. It’s also packed with 7g of protein and 260mg of calcium per serving!

Minute Rice

Not only is Minute Rice super convenient (as the name says, it’s ready in a minute), it’s also super tasty and wholesome. It’s great for when you’re on the go or meal prepping, and sometimes I just like to whip up Minute Rice to go along with some leftover protein and veggies after a long day. I also love the variety of options. One day I can enjoy basmati and the next I can have the brown rice and quinoa, both of which are Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten free, vegan, and have no added preservatives. Plus, all of their cups are BPA-free and recyclable!

Nutiva Organic Classic Hazelnut Spread

Nutiva’s Organic Classic Hazelnut Spread has been a favorite of mine for years! It’s absolutely delicious and contains 40% less sugar than the leading brand. It’s also vegan, non-GMO, and rainforest and orangutan safe! I love to make little dessert tacos with the spread and fresh berries, and it’s also great on pancakes, waffles, and in a cozy bowl of oats. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

RECIPE 33

If you haven’t yet tried Recipe 33’s infused almonds, you are missing out! They’re truly brilliant - deliciously flavored almonds without the sticky, messy hands. RECIPE 33 developed a process to take real ingredients and infuse the flavor into each almond without the addition of any artificial additives or flavors. These almonds come in five delicious, unique flavors - black truffle, smoky serrano, garlic dill, lemon rosemary, and cinnamon vanilla. They’re perfect whether you’re enjoying them on the go, as part of a snack plate, or adding them to your favorite salad. You can use the code TryRECIPE33 here to get $2.00 off any 4oz bags.

When it comes to wine, I love it! I’m definitely a wine drinker, but it can often leave me with a headache the next day. That’s why when I happened upon Good Weather Wine, I couldn’t have been more excited!

They only choose wines that have no additives, no chemicals, and no added sugar, plus they’re all low in sulfites as well. Each of their bottles is handcrafted at small wineries and is organic, biodynamic, and/or sustainably farmed. Plus their wines are keto and paleo friendly if that’s your thing.

Subscribing to Good Weather Wine is simple! You just select how many bottles you want - 3 for $90, 6 for $150, or 12 for $290. Then you pick whether you want red, white, or a combo. And finally, you choose how often you want to receive your boxes. You can also easily stop or pause your membership at any point. Plus they were all highly rated and came from small wineries that I haven’t had the chance to try. I did a little at home tasting with some friends which was a blast. My Honest Good Chop Review – High Quality Meat and Seafood Right to Your Door

IMG_0914.jpg

When it comes to cooking meat and seafood, I can be very particular. I like to know exactly what I’m getting, where it’s coming from, and how it’s been raised. Nutritionally (and ethically) these things are really important to me, so when I found out about Good Chop, I was very interested in trying out a box.

Good Chop is a flexible subscription service for high quality meat and seafood. Their meats and seafood come exclusively from American family farms and fisheries with no added hormones, growth promotants, preservatives, or antibiotics, ever. Each box is completely customizable, from the size of the box to the products you want inside, and every box ships absolutely free. Everything in your Good Chop box is flash frozen which is not only great for you flexibility-wise; it also means less waste for the planet.

With Good Chop, you first select your box size, medium of large. The medium box allows you to choose 6 proteins, and with the large you select 12. I personally tend to get the medium box since I live alone, but I love that I can upgrade to the large box when I’m expecting company or planning something special. The medium box costs $149 and includes 36 portions, averaging out to about $4.14 per meal. The large box costs $269 and includes 72 portions, averaging out to about $3.74 per meal. You’ll receive your box monthly with completely free shipping and can always change the frequency as needed.

From there you select the specific items and cuts you want. Whether you want beef, pork, chicken, sefood, or a combination, the choice is completely yours which is one of my favorite parts about Good Chop. Once you receive you box, you can put it straight in the fridge or freezer depending on when you plan to use your items. They last from for up to an entire year in the freezer! You can find more specific information about Good Chop’s sourcing here as well as check out their weekly menu here. You can choose your plan and enjoy $100 off your flexible Good Chop subscription here!

I made a couple of delicious, easy recipes with some of the contents of my Good Chop box. You can get those recipes by clicking the pictures below.
